ShopWithNaija intends to use Paystack for customer checkout while the platform records the gross amount, provider costs, ShopWithNaija fee and merchant amount transparently.
The server creates the transaction from the saved order, current plan and verified merchant destination. The customer receives a provider-backed checkout experience.
Only a verified Paystack response or signed webhook can mark an order paid. Event keys are unique so retries do not duplicate financial effects.
The financial ledger must show what was collected, owed, refunded, disputed, reserved and paid out. Merchant funds are liabilities until settlement.
The commercial model, merchant verification and settlement/subaccount structure must be confirmed with Paystack, finance and legal advisers before customer funds are accepted.
